Netlogon is a service by default installed in Windows Computer (like XP Computer & Windows Server ).
Netlogon is a service help user to remote logon to the other computer.
If you need to logon to own computer (local computer ), we do not need netlogon to help us to logon locally.
If you are sitting in front of Computer "A" and computer "A" is connected to computer "B" through ethernet switch.
Computer "A" and Computer "B" are in the same domain .
Computer "B" is a Domain Controller.
This DC (Domiain Controller) is controlling the domain login authentication
Now we want to logon to domain , you need Computer "B" to approve/authenticate
